Hello My Na
me Is...
Alecia Davis
I teach Third Grade
Social Studies

I am a graduate of Grambling Sate University, where I obtained my  B.S. in Elementary Education and M.S. in Developmental Education along with M+30, and several other certifications. I have been teaching for
11 years and counting!!!

Welcome Parents and Student
s!!!
I am excited to start this school year and I hope you are too!
School is in session and I am prepared to teach, enhance, shape, mold, and motivate ALL my students' academic skills.

I would like ALL students to have a fun and memorable school year!!!
Therefore, PARENTS, I need your FULL support throughout the school year in order to be fully successful in achieving OUR goals.

OUR Weekly Regimen

Detailed Progress Report

 sent home
every 3rd,6th,& 8th week on

84-75= C
74-67= D

Your child will receive conduct from their homeroom teacher and  a detailed progress report from each individual teacher.  For example, I teach Social Studies, therefore, your child will  ONLY receive a detailed report from me and they will receive their other detailed progress report from the other teachers. The progress report MUST be signed and returned to that teacher.

Cognizant Information

Students will be given Take Home Folders  you can check daily. The folder will be used for your child(s) weekly sheets that will consist of what we are learning for the week along with their daily homework assignments, as well as progress report/conduct, important notifications from the school or teacher, permission slips, etc
Please parents make sure your child return his or her folder daily.
Homework is essential and must be completed to your child's best ability.
I expect nothing but the best from all my students, so parents please stress to your child the benefits and importance of doing their homework.
It challenges, enhances, and show their capabilities.
Moreover, it gives you a glance at what your child is learning and expose to in their class daily. Homework will count as a grade every nine weeks.
Education is the key to success no matter what we desire to become in life.
It pays to know something in all subject areas.
Encourage learning at all times...it takes our children farther than we can imagine.
